What is Airbrush make-up?

Airbrush make-up is the most advance type of make-up out right now. Airbrush makeup sits on the surface of the skin, allowing the skin to breathe. It does not clog pores the way traditional makeup does. Many people with skin problems such as acne scaring or pigmentation find their problems appear to be less visible when they switch to airbrush foundation. Airbrush make-up is more long-lasting then traditional foundation. It gives a more matte finish with a flawless complexion needed for new technology like HD Television and high mega pixel cameras, these types of cameras seem to pick up the make-up leaving it visible to the eye.

Airbrush is ideal for brides because of the long lasting wear, and minimal touch up that is   required.

It is applied evenly to the face or body with a spray gun attached to a compressor or pump to distribute flowing air and makeup to the area. You will feel light air pressure on the skin. The artist will then apply it with different type of strokes and techniques to best bring out your features.

Why do you suggest Trials for weddings?

Time management is very imperative in such cases like weddings. This is when a Trial is important because the Artist needs to know how your skin reacts to the various products we carry in our kits.

It's also good to try/test some of the products on your skin to ensure that the products being used will not be irritating or sensitive to your skin. Sometimes our best product may not be suitable to you so we will need to find an alternative. We also want to assure our client has achieve the desired look for the event. We try at least 2 looks during a trial which lasts approx 1.5-2 hours.

During a trial, a skin analysis is provided, this gives us an opportunity to provide you information on your specific skin type and recommend products to assure your skin is in top shape for your event. As trained skin technicians and makeup artists, we think its important that we educate you on your skin. Makeup is temporary and we want you to not only look your best with make-up but be confident without it also. Skincare is an important factor because your skin is your canvas before the make-up application.

What happens if I don't choose to have a trial?

Sometimes it can be complicated replicating a makeup from picture becuae everyone has different skin tones and structures. The look may not be as complimentary as it is in the picture. Sometimes we end up spending more time trying to figure out the right look ( hence why a trial takes approx. 1.5-2 hours - day of wedding it only takes approx. 45 mins) and at the end the client may not be satified.

What if I don't know what kind of look I want?

It is recommended that you bring or e-mail pictures of the make-up and hair you would like to achieve. We can go through and discuss the look since we have an idea. We also encourage you to bring 1-2 people that know you best to offer any opinions.

Are your Tools and Make-up   CLEAN?

Hygiene is a MUST! All Artists arrive on location with clean/sanitized tools and brushes. All tools and brushes used in between clients will either be a new one or it will be sanitized at the immediate spot. All of our make-up are never cross contaminated and never double dipped, with the exception with powders.
